Rainy is an illustrator, ceramic artist and cat owner born in China and currently based in NY, US. Drawing inspiration from nature, poetry and human relationship, she enjoys transforming her imaginative visions into real life, delving into the connection among all living beings. With her experience in art teaching and pedagogy, she developed her unique visual language which resembles a cabinet of wonders and hidden messages. Her work, softly rendered in either pastel or vibrant colors, brings to life an adorable and enchanting land, where she subtly infuses her reflections on real life experience, traditional culture, mythology, and spirituality.
